Hiking
The mining area is ideal for runners, hikers, walkers and bikers. Many roads lead in different directions e.g. you can access the Buchenweg via Tregist, but also the GKB car park when coming from Bärnbach. Coming from Voitsberg Castle towards the GKB site, you can enjoy the beautiful forest and nature on the Kam. Hopefully it will stay that way in the future and it will not be cordoned off. The roads are mostly gravel or easy to walk. Only when it rains you should wear sturdy shoes.
