It is an impressive and innovative bridge that was the main entrance to the Zaragoza International Expo in the summer of 2008.
The bridge was designed by Zaha Hadid. This award-winning architect of Iraqi origin has defined the project as one of the most important of her career. The structure aims to mimic a gladiolus. The bridge connects the right bank of the Ebro with the Expo exhibition, which is located on the left bank of the Ebro. The bridge has a length of 270 meters.
The bridge is a pedestrian bridge that also contains a number of exhibition options
The bridge is now a memorial, but it is closed and there is no public access.
