Malzfeldt Mill

A very nice place on the edge of Sarstedt.
Impressive in a special way at the last flood.

The mill at the innermost was first mentioned in documents around 1300. In 1965, the water-driven flour mill was shut down and hydropower is now used to power the future. In the landmarked mill building is now a mill museum, which can be visited on request and on the German mill day.
This watermill was the first trading garbage in the Kingdom of Hanover and has been owned by the Malzfeldt family since 1854. While mill operation was discontinued in 1965, today the mill serves exclusively as a mill museum.

There is a lot to see around the mill with its innermost part and the mouth of the Bruchgraben, stop and take a look around.
