The water from the Weitental shoots down the Schleier waterfall over a height of about 50 meters. The spray below refreshes while hiking. The waterfall is not accessible from above. Hard-boiled people like to take a refreshing, ice-cold bath in the waterfall pool in summer.

There are 2 ways to get to the Wide Valley. Once with the Hintertux Glacier cable car to the Sommer Berg Alm. Or on foot in the direction of the Bichlalm and then follow the signs to Weitental.
