Scaliger Castle, Sirmione

It is not allowed to enter into the Sirmione old town with a bike ( only on foot). During weekends, its very crowded with tourists - daily visitors.

In addition to @Elio: It's not permitted to ride a bike in the old town (there's a sign prohibiting cycling). Pushing your bike and walking are also not permitted. There's no rule about it, but police officers try to enforce it, even when the city is empty in the morning and there's plenty of space. This might make sense when the tourist crowds start arriving, but not when the city is deserted in the morning. If you have a valuable bike, don't leave it unattended at a bike rack. It's better to visit the city without your bike.
