The ascent to the Landskrone is very sweaty at the right temperatures - despite a path that is mostly in the shade - but it is worth -1- because of the view of the Ahr valley far beyond and -2- to pray or thank the Mother of God. The chapel is locked and therefore not accessible to light a candle, for example, but it can be viewed from the inside through a window in the door. And the prayer cannot be stopped either by walls or doors ...

The ascent to the "Maria Hilf" chapel is always a highlight. The chapel is located on a high plateau. A herb garden was laid out in front of the chapel, as well as with flowers. A great idea. For 50 cents you can admire the interior of the well-tended chapel through the door window for 3 minutes. A place for the soul and to relax.

The chapel (12th century) can obviously not be entered. To turn on the light and take a look through the small door window, you have to throw in 50 cents like in an amusement park. I haven't seen anything like that yet! Was there vandalism here or what is the reason for closing the chapel even on Pentecost?

The place next to it with benches is nice and well-kept, the view to Grafschaft (Haribo) and the Ahr Mountains unfortunately also goes over the motorway and logistics halls, which spoils the pleasure a bit.
