The Piavon canal derives from the Lia river as well as originates from a lake spring in Oderzo and, up to the homonymous hamlet of Oderzo, is called Navisego. It then touches Cavalier, Fossalta Maggiore, Chiarano, Santa Maria di Campagna, Cessalto and Ceggia. Near Novigrad it joins the Grassaga to form the Brian canal. The latter, through various branches, flows into the Piave and Livenza.
