In the vicinity of the Kinzigsteg - away from the path - there are large green areas with wild garlic along the right bank of the Kinzig. At the beginning of March, the young tips make the forest floor glow green. Main harvest time is from mid-March to the end of March. Wild garlic is ideal as an ingredient in wild garlic pesto and wild garlic quiche and also goes well with the green sauce. You can get a small basket full in no more than 10 minutes. Good Appetite !
