The best part to cycle is from the roundabout along the Oude Rijn between Bodegraven and Zwammerdam, continue cycling along the Meije to the workshop of Natuurmonumenten on your left. Take the cycle path to the left, behind the Nieuwkoopse plas and the De Haeck estate. In the spring and autumn sometimes inundation of the cycle path, but that should not spoil the fun.

Nice piece, but now (June 2023) a lot of work is being done on the road. Really bad road surface. Closed to cyclists during the week. Open on weekends.
