The construction of the 14 meter high Bismarck Tower was realized through a large fundraising campaign in 1908. The cornerstone was laid in the same year. Two years later the tower was completed and inaugurated. A spiral staircase leads up to the viewing platform. However, it is possible that it is blocked due to corruption.

Definitely worthwhile goal and not overrun, rather a little lonely. OK then.

As of 11.2020, the spiral staircase is closed. You can get up anyway, but if you see the rust at the top you understand the blockage: don't climb up!
The viewpoint from the benches is just as worthwhile.
