This Elizabethan moated manor is a stunning piece of architecture hidden away in rural Shropshire. The 16th-century gatehouse, a former royal hunting lodge, is very well preserved and is available as a holiday let and short term let. Names including Margaret Thatcher, King Edward V and Charles I have all stayed here.
