The Wolfsborn spring rises directly on the border to the neighboring town of Kredenbach. The tradition is firmly rooted that the last wolf was spotted here around 1850. Since that time, the name Wolfesborn has been formed for this area. Since this source is located directly on a main hiking trail, the SGV department Kredenbach has taken over the design and maintenance of the source. In the further course changes the name of the body of water Wolfsborn in Berschebach and flows only after about 2 km in the Niederdorf in the Unglinghäuser Bach.
The beech forest below the source is about 60 years old. Depending on the season and the position of the sun you can enjoy very atmospheric pictures here.
