The pentagonal tower is a defense tower was built in the 15th century. Built in the Gothic style. It is located at the beginning of Decumanus Street, at the entrance to the old town. Meanwhile there is a restaurant in it. It is worth a look from the roof terrace ;-)

The pentagonal tower was erected in 1447 by the then city administrator Nicolò Lion, on the foundations of the earlier medieval tower, which in turn stood on the foundations of the ancient tower.

After a reconstruction that was strictly recommended by conservators, a restaurant was set up here, but the tour is accessible to everyone.
