The former small states in Germany left historical traces, so there is also a tri-gentleman stone on the former inner-German border, where the lands of the Kingdom of Bavaria, the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach and the Duchy of Saxony-Meiningen "collided". It is also worth knowing that this Dreiherrenstein also marked the state border during the FRG / GDR times, so you can also find one or the other GDR boundary stone on the border line not far away. Today the mentioned boundary stones are on the border line between the federal states of Bavaria and Thuringia.
