On more than 570 km of cycle paths, the junction system enables a high degree of flexibility and facilitates route planning and orientation for cycle tourists through simple signposting by numbers. This includes a total of 132 nodes in the entire district. These are made up of 27 node locations of the Ruhr Regional Association (RVR) and the 105 nodes of the municipalities belonging to the district.
