The Kessel is a small, deeply sloping valley, which is surrounded by the Vorderscheinberg, Hasentalkopf and the Kesselwand. The boiler can be reached from the Kenzenhütte via the Bäckenalmsattel (here also from the Sägerbachtal) and from the Lösertaljoch. Here you climb to the Scheinbergjoch before you descend into the basin. The Kesselrunde from the Kenzenhütte is about 6 kilometers long.
