In the heart of the original village center, the Protestant church rises on a small hill, which in its current form dates back to a building from the middle of the 19th century. However, a church or chapel existed in Römershausen much earlier. Such a building was first mentioned in a document as early as 1354.

The current church was built in 1856 as an extension of an older 17th century chapel.
