Beautiful ruin in the middle of the Effretikon park. There is also a toilet and several bodies of water in the area.
Unfortunately, the untidy village youth seem to like to celebrate on the ruins ...

Ruins of a former moated castle, which Count Hartmann IV. Von Kyburg had built in 1254 for his wife Margaretha of Savoy. From the complex, which was destroyed in 1444 in the Old Zurich War, the rather insensitive preserved foundations of a tower with megalithic masonry as well as remains of the curtain wall and a few extensions can be seen.
