In the Nollinger Forest you can see the walls of a relatively small and simple residential building. In addition, ceramic and glass vessels as well as animal bones of pigs, sheep and goats were found during excavations. All this indicates that a small Roman farmer lived here with his family and made his living by keeping grazing animals. The estate was abandoned in the third century AD when the Roman Empire's frontier was moved back to the Rhine. There is also an information board with benches that invite you to take a break.
