The Vyle is a stream in Belgium, a tributary of the Hoyoux. It flows in the Condroz region in the province of Namur then in the province of Liège

It rises near the village of Sorée at an altitude of 280 m, then crosses the villages and hamlets of Ève, Évelette, Libois, Tahier and Vyle-et-Tharoul to finally flow into the Hoyoux at Pont-de-Bonne at an altitude of 165 m. after a journey of a dozen kilometers through a gentle valley1. Despite its length, this stream remains of modest flow.

Many castles were built in the Vyle valley. Among which, the castles of Doyon, Libois, Tahier, Bagatelle, Tharoul and even Vyle.
