Helston Railway is the UK's most southerly railway and is now operated by the Helston Railway Preservation Company. From around March to October, a small passenger train runs along the old track for about 1 mile.

Originally opened in 1887 to connect Helston to the main railway line from London to Penzance; the line mainly used to carry agricultural goods. The track ceased operations in 1965.

Helston Railway Preservation Society worked hard to re-open a part of the railway, which has been running a passenger service since 2011.

A mile or so of restored track with working engine and two carriages: good fun for kids and nostalgic adults but check opening times.
