Lake Ninfa is a lake of tectonic origin, located at 1,500 meters above sea level, on the slopes of Mount Cimone, in the municipality of Sestola.
In summer it is a destination for countless tourists who can easily stop on its banks for fantastic picnics, in winter there is a ticket office and a slope connecting to the facilities of the Cimone ski area.
There are at least three refuges with ample parking as the road ends, and then becomes a military road up to Pian Cavallaro.
