A day trip to Bavaria is not worthwhile, because the trip is too far? Not quite true, because at least the Bergisch Bayern is just around the corner, namely in Breckerfeld. More specifically, on the Jausenstation Klütinger Alm. A beer garden check.
On the Klusinger Alm, the Braselmann family has made it their mission to bring home Bavaria and Austria. And that is exactly what they have achieved.

While the goats graze peacefully in the pasture on a small steep slope opposite, Bavarian and Austrian food is served in the beer garden, including traditional white sausage and roast pork. A good way to enjoy a fresh wheat beer.

At the top of the menu, guests will also find a pile of crap. However, this court does not really match his name. It serves different types of meat and chips, lovingly prepared on a small wheelbarrow made of wood.

There is also tradition for the sweet tooth - from Kaiserschmarrn to apple strudel. But as you are still in Bergisch Bayern, you should not miss the Bergische Waffel.

On Sundays and public holidays and by appointment also on weekdays, a rich breakfast buffet is offered, which can be enjoyed on colder days in the cozy conservatory.

Not only food and drinks make Bavarian holiday feelings come to mind when visiting the Klütinger Alm, the love of the Braselmann family for the country of Lederhosen is in the details. Starting with the table decoration, which of course is designed in blue-white-checkered, the colorful planting in the form of - as Sigrid Braselmann informs - typical Bavarian flowers, to the ringing of the cowbell, which sounds when a dish is ready is and can be served.

A special highlight is the Tyrolean corner, from which visitors have a direct view of the "Alps". Even if the view from the window is not quite real, the holiday feeling is always. Bayern fans will love the Klütinger Alm.

If you want to get to the Klütinger Alm by car and use a navigation device, you should enter Radevormwald and Filde, although the Jausenstation is part of Breckerfeld. From Filde the restaurant is then very well signposted and easy to find.
