This rural village has Anglo-Saxon roots and even its ancient church has pre-Norman architecture. With timber-framed buildings and old farmsteads, it's a lovely place to explore. The River Corve winds alongside the village and Wild Edric's Way, a long-distance footpath, passes through as well.
