Mountain biking
Chicarita Creek is a small, year-round creek running from Carmel Mountain Ranch southward through the planning area to Poway Road. A dam creates a small lake which varies in size through the year. The creek is dotted with native trees. This area was home to one of the many local Native American tribes This creek provided year round water, acorns, and small game.
