    A small village in the rural far north of Herefordshire, Burrington dates back to when the manor was held by Eadric the Wild. There are various legends surrounding Eadric, who led the English resistance against the Norman Conquest.

    The village's church, St George, contains probably the most refined collection of 17th and 18th-century cast iron grave slabs in the England.

      St Georges at Burrington is now closed and is up for sale, possibly for conversion to a house! At present it is closed off with builder's fencing.
