Tips
The quarry lake was created in 1938–39 through gravel mining. It is located in the Untere Amper landscape protection area and in the immediate vicinity of the Amper and the federal highway 8. There is a campsite on the east bank. From the northwestern shore marked here you have a nice view over the lake.
