Welcome to the Maasoever Railway
Our train runs between the Pannenkoekenhuis and the camping site “De Oude Maas”. The train takes you along the banks of the Oude Maas and through the woods that are located here. During the ride you will cross a railway bridge and go through a railway tunnel. In short, a ride to enjoy this nature reserve along the Oude Maas in Barendrecht. The train is driven and maintained by members of the association.
Every train ride starts at the station, of course. The station is easily accessible in the nature and recreation area along the Oude Maas. There is enough parking space in the two large (free) parking lots.
Once at the station, you can buy your train tickets at the ticket office or at the conductor. You can choose a separate train ticket or a 10-ride ticket. You can use the 10-ride card with several people and it is valid indefinitely, provided there are still "clips" left.
