It was the early 1960s when Luigi Tempestin began organizing the first bicycle races in Calderba. In 1971, with the collaboration of Armando Vidotto and the friends of the district, the small church dedicated to the Madonna protectress of cyclists was erected, while the capital dedicated to Fausto Coppi, from whom the cycling lever for very young people first and for amateur cyclists later, takes its name, dates back to 1972.

In 1971, with the collaboration of Armando Vidotto and the friends of the district, the small church dedicated to the Madonna protector of cyclists was erected, while the capital dedicated to Fausto Coppi is dated 1972. Since 2000, with the collaboration of Germano Bisigato, the church has hosted photos of professional cyclists (deceased) from the Province of Treviso. Every year, on the holiday closest to January 2, the anniversary of Fausto Coppi's death, all former professionals are remembered.In 2020 a fountain was also created in memory of the historic bottle exchange between Coppi and Bartali.
