NABU Achim has created an orchard here. 24 fruit trees in the back part of the meadow have been here for 20 years. 87 new trees have been added, which were donated by citizens. In total, there are 111 fruit trees here in 99 mainly old varieties.

At the entrance to the orchard, you are greeted by a sign with many interesting explanations. In addition to the fruit trees, there is a bench, a small picnic area, a bench, beehives and insect hotels. A truly magical place. A visit is particularly worthwhile during the flowering and harvest seasons.

In 2014, the orchard meadow's members received the "Lower Saxony Environmental Award." The meadow is open to the public.
