The main entrance to the otherwise completely private Savenel estate, a large section of the southern Meerdaal Forest. The Savenel estate has a rather special history. It is completely walled, and the walk around the wall, "Promenade des murs," is well-known to many hikers from Leuven, and especially from the south of Leuven.
