The Nike station is a US SAM air defense missile site with surface-to-air missiles of the type Nike Hercules with a range of up to 150 km (and up to 30 km altitude). , whose starting base covers around 15 hectares and is located on an area in the Hagenschiesswald that is still clearly visible today, although it has been dismantled.

Today a quiet place with a beautiful view;-), from the Wurmberg district, to Wurmberg!
