Built in the 1600s, this impressive mansion was belonged to the Bankes Family; owners of great swathes of land in Dorset. The gardens and grounds were landscaped when the house was built and cover 410 acres (164 ha).

Prior to the house there was another mansion here as part of a Royal estate; a hunting lodge during the medieval times. Today, it's a majestic place to explore with beautiful grounds, a cafe and plenty of walks.
