The nature there is very idyllic despite everything!

A historic valley in the immediate vicinity of the ICE route. Here, in the 30-year war, the citizens of Eppenrod and Nentershausen were rounded up and fell victim to a massacre.

After the bridge passes through a low dark tunnel, above it the ICE's rushing (quite loud).
