The building was built in 1852 on the initiative of the Charity Society operating in Radom at that time. Apart from club rooms, Resursa had a 1000-seat auditorium and a library. Its purpose has changed over the years and was closely related to the historical turmoil. During World War I, a hospital was organized in Resursa. In the following period, it performed cultural functions, so that a hospital was built here again during the Polish-Bolshevik war. In the 1920s, Teatr Rozmaitości im. Stefan Żeromski. During World War II, it housed a German community center, and during the communist times, the Przyjaźń i Pokolenia cinema was established in Resursa. Today, it houses the Resursa Obywatelska Culture and Art Center, which continues the tradition of spreading culture and historical education. He publishes the "Resursa" magazine, produces his own film programs - "Radomski Magazyn Kulturalny" or "Witnesses of History" - and organizes the cyclical outdoor event "The Lane of Tradition".
