The Bosco Selva is considered the "green lung" of Alberobello and is only 800 meters from the town, along the Trulli del Bosco. Its extension, equal to an area of 45 hectares, releases more than 920 tons of pure oxygen in a year, revealing itself in the territory as a natural oasis unique for its biodiversity and, according to recent studies, a container of pure air in the region. The reserve also looks like a real park with countless paths that can be traveled on foot or by bike, play areas for children and outdoor picnics.

In 1985 this area became "Bosco Selva Flora and Fauna Protection Oasis". The particular micro-climate represents the ideal environment for the survival of many fauna and plant species, typical of the Mediterranean area. It is worth stopping to enjoy the clean air and the coolness of the shade of the trees and to discover new fauna species that you may never have seen.
