Abandoned rural Greek cross church, owned by the Municipality. Built towards the fifteenth century. it has been renovated and remodeled several times. Cardassi narrates that the relics of the Holy Deacon were brought to Rutigliano by one of the first Archpriests of the Roman Colonna family. Around it dozens of groundwater wells and an ancient underground aqueduct whose origin and term and specific utility function are unknown until today. It is probably a work of the fourth century. to. C. The statue of the Holy Deacon is currently kept in the Church of the Madonna del Carmine.
