Another box seat for me is the area around the "Drei Waller Chapel" with a view of the Gastein Valley, it is on the way from the Dorfgastein suburb Unterberg to the Kögerlalm. The Gastein Valley was difficult to access in the early days and a mountain path led over a saddle high above the valley. The Gastein Valley opens up on this saddle with a view to the south. In the background, with snow on the rugged mountain peaks, the Laderdinger Gamskar stretches its peaks into the sky.
