If you want to get home from the retreat house Waidmanns Ruh and do not live near the Siebengebirge, I think the parking lot at Kloster-Heisterbacher-Rott is the most meaningful parking lot; When changing the hiking boots to the normal you can still throw a nice view to the monastery or the field. Also, this car park is not as muddy as the closer parking, as it was recently redone with gravel.
