A fantastic example of Gothic architecture, Clumber Chapel is one of Clumber Park's centrepieces. Formally, the Chapel of St Mary the Virgin, it is often cited as a 'cathedral in miniature', as it is equal in size to most parish churches. It makes for a fine objective on an amble through the park's magnificent mosaic of woodland, heath and parkland.
