This area often feels a lot warmer than most other areas near Barcelona. You are very exposed to the sun. Which is super nice during the winter.
I also recommend doing this segment from Olivella, and then descent Rat Penat instead. Then you get to appreciate the amazing views over the park and the sea.
I guess the same views are available if you come from Rat Penat. But my brain and legs are usually a total mess after that 😂
