The Wedding Palace, built in 2011, is a civil building, but it looks like it was created by a wealthy eccentric. The lower floors of the white and gold structure are star-shaped and stacked offset so that their points do not overlap. On the first floors there is a huge globe with gold maps of Turkmenistan floor. The oversized disco ball is surrounded by a frame of eight-sided Turkmen stars.
