The Generaloberst-Beck-Kaserne (General Colonel Beck Barracks) of the Bundeswehr, named after one of the participants in the July 20th plot, was originally one of the Adolf Hitler Schools distributed throughout Germany for the training of National Socialist cadres and one of the three Ordensburgen (Order Castles) for the training of future leaders of the NSDAP (Nazi Party). Hardy Krüger was among those who attended the "Adolf Hitler Schools" there.
