Of the few buildings that were not demolished, the brewery is one of the grain mills, called Burloer Mühle. This is now used as a stable building after the half-hipped roof including the half-timbered “mezzanine” was removed after damage by Hurricane Kyrill 2007 [9] and replaced by a low corrugated iron roof. The former oil mill has fallen into disrepair.
