The asphalt toll road is also easy to drive on with a racing bike. There are two entrances to the barrier. The lower one branches off from the L131 below Terplak, the upper one in Ebriach, right by the Kovac inn. Since the path along the river is very attractive, I recommend taking the upper entry upwards and descending downwards out.
(Tip: I took sneakers with me in my rucksack, left my bike and shoes at the hut and climbed the Hochobir. It's a good 3 kilometers and 580 meters of altitude.)
