The Donnerberg is a hill 287.3 metres above sea level on the northern edge of the Eifel between Stolberg (Rhld.) and the Eschweiler city forest in the Aachen urban region. This hill is located in the Donnerberg district, which has belonged to Stolberg since 1935 and got its name from this hill. Before the municipal reorganization in 1972, the Donnerberg was the highest point in Stolberg.
