Located on a beautiful hiking trail near Opherdicke Castle and from there you also have beautiful views of the Ruhr Valley and towards Iserlohn and Menden!

Hiking

In the meantime, the 3rd FlaRakGrp 21 with the Patriot weapon system was stationed there (the actual barracks was in Holzwickede). Very nice area for hiking and walking (nature reserve and military training area adjacent). Some of the most wonderful prospects !!!
