Mountain biking
There's a great campsite cafe to the north of this segment, and the village of Rhossili to the south. You can chose to climb up to Rhossili Down (it's that steep you may have to push) or ride along the dunes (you'll probably have a number of surf schools for company); either way you'll smell and feel the sea spray and be able to soak up the glorious Gower scenery.
