A large stone gumboot statue erected in memory of the ultra marathon runner Cliff Young.

Cliff was a local legend who trained by chasing cattle around his farm in gumboots. He took to competing in gumboots and they became his signature.

His running style, known as "The Cliff Young Shuffle" has since been adopted by other professional ultra runners.
