    Mühlenhof Breckerfeld

The Mühlenhof Breckerfeld is a historic building complex in Breckerfeld (North Rhine-Westphalia), consisting of a translocated windmill, a back storage, a granary, a bee house, a bakery, a rural house and a coffee shop with farmer's shop.

In 1996, a private, freely accessible open-air museum was built on the northern edge of Breckerfeld, in which several translocated historical buildings of peasant life were collected. The main attraction is the 1886 erected in the Mark Brandenburg Bockwindwühle (with two comb wheels, a bag lift and a Steinhebekran, two canvas and two blinds), next to a granary (original clay memory) from the Soest area, a bee house from Hünningen (circle Soest) as well as a three-tier house with oven from heathen (circle Borken) originating from the year 1755 were newly built.

In the farmhouse, the owner operates a bakery, a sales room for home-made baked goods, cheese, meat and sausage products and a coffee shop with restoration to finance the entrance-free open-air museum, which, like the other buildings with original rustic furnishings of the 19th and early 20th Century are equipped. The Mühlenhof has quickly become a popular tourist attraction in Breckerfeld.

The Bockwindmühle was built in 1846 in Beeskow (near Frankfurt / Oder) in the Mark Brandenburg, dismantled in 1996, restored and rebuilt here. It is equipped with two comb wheels, a bag lift and stone lifting crane. Two wings are covered with canvas, the other two are jalousie wings.
